The weather also has a play in how often you should wash bedding, as the sheets tend to get dirty quicker in summer due to sweating during the night. And don’t forget about the bedwetters, these accidents still happen for kids sometimes so that will obviously require clean bedding sooner.

Is Changing Kids Bedding Different from Changing Adult Bedding?

For both kids bedding and adult bedding, it’s important to wash it at least once every ten days, but preferably every week. If you’re suffering from allergies or have the flu, you can wash the bedding at 60°C to kill bacteria and dust mites. Ideally, you should wash all bedding on the same day to make sure you maintain the frequency. That way, it’s easy to remember when to wash the kids bedding and you will sleep in a clean, fresh bed as well!
